Project Management Intern

Project Management Intern

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Project Management Intern to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of Rainforest Connection’s projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the core team with project planning, scheduling, and coordination.

  • Track tasks, deadlines, deliverables, and project progress.

  • Prepare meeting agendas, take notes, and follow up on action items.

  • Maintain organized project documentation, calendars, and status updates.

  • Coordinate information across teams and help keep stakeholders aligned.

  • Identify potential delays, dependencies, or operational challenges.

  • Assist with research, reporting, and other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Comfortable working independently and collaborating across teams.

  • Familiarity with project management platforms and collaborative tools is an advantage.

  • Previous experience in project coordination, operations, administration, or a related area is beneficial.

  • An interest in conservation, technology, nonprofit work, or environmental projects is an advantage.

Internship Details

  • Compensation: Unpaid

  • Duration: Minimum commitment of six months

  • Hours: Part-time, with a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week
